Since 2005, Tom has held numerous District and Zone positions, including three terms as the District 5520 Rotary Foundation Committee Chair, District Endowment Chair, Zone 26 Assistant Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator, and Zone 26 Endowment/Major Gifts Adviser. Tom serviced four terms as the District 5520 Vice Governor where he frequently advised the Governor line on Rotary Foundation matters. Tom Attended the 2021 and2022 Global Regional Leadership training and numerous regional leader training events. Tom has received Rotary’s Service Above Self Award, the Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service, and the Rotary Club of Albuquerque’s Lifetime Service Award. Tom has been a presenter in Foundation giving topics at Zone Institutes, Presidents-Elect Training Seminars, and District Conferences. Tom spent 23 years as nuclear-trained submarine officer including commander of USS Casimir Pulaski. Tom is a 1971 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy with a B. S. in Naval Architecture, and 1988 graduate of the Naval War College with a M. A. in National Security & Strategic Studies.
