My professional experience lecturing at Swinburne University and private practice in grief, trauma and loss counselling plus my vast volunteer work with people of all backgrounds and diversity has provided me with the ability to talk and work with anyone in a non-judgemental way, with empathy and practicality. The experience I have gained working with people from our CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities provides me with enormous respect and need to assist our new Australians to understand and be part of the prevention of family abuse. I have created Rotary SAFE Families and in 2022 created and chair the Inclusive Communities Initiative. See website: http://www.rotarysafefamilies.org.au/ All resources and films are theoretically based and endorsed by Rotary Australia and are the basis for Rotary’s commitment to primary prevention of family violence to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Our free online Resources are available to download on website. I am also available for Guest Speaker presentations and workshops on Rotary SAFE Families and How to Become an Ambassador Club; Mental Health Literacy; Prevention of Family Abuse; Coercive Control; Child Abuse; Elder Abuse; Abuse of Males; Domestic Violence & Its Impact on Children.
