As an experienced Rotarian with 15 years+ community, volunteer and leadership experience with a passion for health equity to address social disparities using evidence-based public health principles. With skills in project planning and management and expertise in preventative population health promotion, screening, healthcare programs, I have demonstrable experience supporting strategic community-centric initiatives to improve priority population health outcomes for disadvantaged and marginalised communities. I have a Master of Public Health complementing my broad multidisciplinary business, organisational and leadership skills gained throughout my extensive international career and roles with Victorian Department of Health. I have a breadth of domain knowledge across government and private sectors with Rotary and other community leadership experience to deliver community-centred programs. I have lived experience with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) advocacy, focussing on LGBTIQA+ health equity, women’s health and community empowerment in Southeast Asia and working with culturally diverse and First-nations communities using intersectional approaches.
