I have been asked to be Interact Chair for District 5190 for the next 3 years. We have great Rotarians in 59 Clubs in our District and an Interact program that needs development. We have 22 active clubs, 2 suspended and 28 terminated Clubs. I am passionate about Youth Protection, getting young people involved in service and getting the word out to as many young people as possible about Rotary and getting them involved. We have a very strong HR Executive DG incoming named Larry Harvey. Post COVID my goal is to re-engage a number of the terminated Clubs and do a “human trafficking” prevention program with Youth involvement at our next District Conference (May, 2026 in Reno , NV). My immediate goal is to see if I can set up a module in ClubRunner to accurately track Clubs, people and projects in our District. Can you suggest any reading materials or resources I can use to amplify these efforts? Sorry for the long message, but I am anxious to get started.
