This Rotary year I’m leading the District 5450 Membership role solo, as Debbie Setlock has moved to Montana. We’re continuing our monthly Membership Huddle UP! sessions, but with a new focus—helping clubs leave each session with one practical “play” they can put into action right away.
Our August 12 Huddle UP! (4:00 p.m.) will focus on club communications. I recently completed a digital communications audit of every club in the district, looking specifically at club news, newsletters, and bulletins. The results were very insightful, and I’d be happy to share them with you.
The reason I’m reaching out is that I’m looking for someone with your expertise to join us – or someone you could refer me to help us. I need someone to help clubs understand not only how to create newsletters and bulletins that people actually want to read, but also how to use them strategically so they reach prospective members, current members, and the community—and encourage people to engage with the club.
