I would love to chat with you about the Rotary Wildfire Ready project that was started in 2019 in Evergreen, Colorado. This project has been expanding throughout the State of Colorado and just recently the Rotary Club of Angel Fire in New Mexico wants to become a Rotary Wildfire Ready partner club. Our project is a community-based program designed to help keep residents safer from the threat of wildfire. This project is the first of its kind to be a “wildfire preparedness project” verse a “wildfire disaster relief project”. Our project website is: www.RotaryWildfireReady.com. I am the new chairperson for this project and I could use some advise on how our team prepares for the demand of new Rotary Clubs throughout the western United States wanting to become Rotary Club Partners with this project. My biggest concern is meeting the demand and doing a good job of providing support to our partner Rotary Clubs in wildfire prone areas.
