Hi Angela, Tom Boyland of district 5130 suggested that I get in touch with you. He has been helping us to get our Rotaract Clubs set up properly in Dacdb and Ignite, and while we have some information in Dacdb, it is different from what we see in Ignite vs the direct login to Dacdb. Here is our issue: Under our membership tabs in Dacdb for club 410, Santa Rosa, in District 5130, we have had a tab for Santa Rosa Junior College Rotaract Club and then another tab with Rotaract Club with some duplicated names, but not 100% duplication of the SRJC Rotaract Tab. We also sponsor a Community Based Rotaract Club called Global Alum Rotaract, which is a virtual club with members scattered over the globe. We are trying to get both clubs set up properly in Dacdb and Ignite so that we can integrate them more into the club and activities, resources, etc. Tom set up a new tab in Dacdb for Global Alum, which is blank in terms of members. He gave us instructions for having the President of Global Alum go into My Rotary and the club profile and to nominate Dacdb as the management program for club communications. We expect that to be completed any day. We have asked the same of the Rotaract Club of Santa Rosa JC. We are getting training for Ignite for the board on Tuesday, and we would like this to be resolved if possible by then so that the Global Alum board can participate. What is a bit confusing to me is that the most recent members of the SRJC Rotaract club seem to be showing up in our club membership stream, but not in the DacdbClub membership list, only in the special tabs set up manually. These tabs have outdated manually input information in them, but the names I see in Ignite seem to be the latest membership list in My Rotary, but only for the SRJC Rotaract Club. Can you help us sort this out? Sorry for such a long story, but we have been told originally by Dacdb that we needed to have this fixed by our District and they did not know how to do it, and now Dacdb says we need the Rotaract Presidents to do some things in My Rotary profiles to make it work. In the meantime, we don’t know if we should be updating the special folders manually or even how this all integrates with Ignite. Thanks in advance for your help with this.
