I’m a PDG and currently D5000 membership chair. We’re in the process of starting a couple satellite clubs in the district and wanted to check on something before we move forward. I realize to start a satellite club we must have 8 members. Are all 8 required to be members of an existing club or can they be potential members? They are not interested in joining a traditional club then moving to a satellite club, they want to go straight into a satellite club. Avoiding the higher dues and some of the “traditional” ways of the sponsor club.
