I am the Foundation Chair for Rotary Club of Ala Moana.
I have a hypothetical question: Our club has a fundraiser for TRF and raise $4,000. We then send a check to TRF for this amount to Annual Fund-Share. Does this amount then get credited to our club as club giving? Will this amount then go thru the same process that an individual donation does in our District 5000, ie invested, shared with World Fund and DDF and then a portion ultimately returns to our club in the form of DDF?
Would it be more beneficial for our members if we tracked who donated how much to the fundraiser and then submit a form to TRF with individual names and donation amounts? Might be a little bookkeeping nightmare or is it even proper to submit donations in that manner?
