I connected with Dave Olson via email, and we held a 1-hour Zoom session togther to answer his questions and to make suggestions. I shared with him copies of our Interact District’s plan for starting and reactivating Interact clubs, a copy of my own “Guide to Growing an Interact Club,” our distrct’s “Advisor 101” guide for Interact Club Advisors, and information about our district’s 3 levels of Interact leaadership training and service: (1) club; (2) district; and (3) international. We also discussed as some length our Ineract District 5495’s organization structure and how we operate. I also gave him materials related to our signature “Interact Crutches 4 Africa” international service project. Perhaps most important, I connected him with our Zones 26-27 Rotary Youth Services Interact Community of Practice and our virtual RYS leadership training conferences. I also gave him information about our Worldwide Rotary District Interact Chairs Association and its quarterly informational meetings. We have since have several additional email exchanges.
