I’m the new Interact Chair for District 5240 and I have some questions that my Youth Director was not able to answer about our list of inactive clubs and what to do with them.
We have some Interact Clubs listed as suspended and some as terminated. There are some that don’t have active Rotary Clubs and some that have active Rotary Clubs. I’m wondering about the reasons they were terminated or suspended and the process in getting clubs active, if there are active Interact Clubs still for those listings. What is the process for getting a suspended or terminated club active again if there is an associated Interact Club?
I’ve noticed that we have a lot of active Interact Clubs also that don’t have an advisor listed and none have been listed for years. What would make an Interact Club go inactive by the way so we avoid that in the future?
I’m looking to send out emails soon giving advice and information on how to get our Interact Clubs active, for any that aren’t, and check in with all of the clubs that have Interact Clubs. Any information you can provide to help me get everyone accurate and chartered correctly would be great.
