I am very happy to tell you that Montana District 5390 is on its way to chartering a new club in Missoula!
Rotarian Mark Steelquist is a relatively new arrival to Missoula from the Seattle area. He searched for a new Rotary home among Missoula’s three existing clubs and determined that he – and the Missoula community – would benefit from a new Rotary Club that met in the evening and centered around service engagement, professional networking, and fellowship. My District Membership Chair and I have met with Mark and so have we three along with DGE Kathy Schulte. We have also encouraged Mark to visit each of the other three Missoula Rotary Clubs. I believe the next info meeting will be Friday, January 16. Would it be possible for us to meet with you by Zoom before then, to introduce Mark to you and any other experts at Zone you recommend to help Mark and those of us at District guide this emerging club forward correctly and successfully?
